Decor Inspirations
Right now we have nothing set in stone, so the following is my mish-mash of ideas for decor.
We just changed our colors from navy and yellow to navy, plum and gold. I think it adds a bit more sophistication, while still being a really cool and interesting color scheme! I'm excited about all the cool directions we can take it in!
I love this inspiration board, which has the navy, plum and gold. I actually think this would work beautifully with our setting, so we're going to run with it! I also love candles, and I know our decor is going to be loaded with candles!
Flowers
We've met with a couple florists, and decided that we want our flowers to be very textural and different. No roses (or very limited), and in shades of purple and blue.
I like the pictures below and think they have a lot in common with my vision. Unfortunately, the stuff I brought to the florist were from magazines, so I can't show you the actual picture that my bouquet is probably going to be based off of.

Below is a "bridal canvas" I made of the different flowers we discussed for my bouquet. I know they kind of look a bit random right now but I'm hoping everything will really come together in the end. The bouquet will be tired with a navy ribbon to pull the blue into it. I just love how "different" and "non-bridal" the flowers will look!
The bridesmaids' bouquets will have less variety than mine and be slightly smaller.
