The Happy Couple
David is a 23 year old graphic designer, who enjoys watching hockey and soccer. He has an amazing aptitude for art history and an almost photographic memory. His favorite webcomics are Toothpaste For Dinner and Achewood.
Chrissy is a 24 year old with no clue what she wants to be when she grows up. She majored in hospitality management at Univ of Central Florida and is going back to school for an accounting degree. She loves horses and eating at new restaurants. She also tries to cook, sometimes.
The Proposal
It happened the day after Christmas 2008.
After a few months apart due to school and work commitments, David had just arrived in their new home - New Orleans. Chrissy's whole family was in town and there was a big day after Christmas feast planned.
After dinner, everyone was exchanging gifts but David wanted the couple to exchange theirs in private. Once the family left to go back to their hotels, Chrissy gave him his gift: a super awesome home beer brewing kit! Then came the big gift from David: a tshirt from Married to the Sea, one of their favorite web comics. Oh... and a ring cleverly hidden beneath it in the bag!
